National Bioscience Database Center (NBDC) was established at Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and took over the responsibility and several products of the project. DBCLS started Basic Technology Development Program with NBDC. |

DBCLS office was moved from Univ Tokyo Asano Campus to two locations namely Univ Tokyo Kashiwa-no-ha Campus Station Satellite in Kashiwa, Chiba and National Institute of Genetics in Mishima. |
